Before cosmetology school, I had a lot of different ideas of career paths that I wanted to pursue. When I was just 16 years old, I was given the wonderful opportunity to go part time to a technical high school to take classes that would count for college credit. I was very interested in the beauty industry since my grandma and great grandma had both been hair stylists. I graduated high school with not only my diploma but also my license as a cosmetologist!
I believe a huge part of success is loving what you do. I believe I grew as a stylist by having such a wonderful mentor as a manager, and having such a great team of girls to work with. .
I think positive energy and teamwork is what’s most important when it comes to work. Clients can really feel bad vibes in a salon. Positive energy is a rule I live by. I look forward to devoting myself to getting better each day and to set an example for others to benefit..
