Congratulations to our Stylist of the Month for September, Anita! Anita is a Stylist at our Peoria, AZ salon. We wanted to ask her a few questions about her and her time at Lady Jane’s!

LJ: What’s the best part about working at Lady Jane’s that keeps you coming back every day?

Definitely my clients. I love building relationships with them and having people come back because they trust me with their hair.

LJ: If you could give one professional athlete a haircut, who would it be and why?

Joe Burrow. He’s got great style already, so I think it would be fun to give him a fresh cut and put my own touch on it.

LJ: What type of music do you listen to?

Mostly rap and country, but it really just depends on my mood.

LJ: What are you doing when you’re not behind the chair?

Usually spending time at home with my dogs, working on something around my house, traveling when I get the chance, or focusing on school and what I want to do next.

LJ: What’s one tool you can’t live without on your station and why?

My clippers. A good pair of clippers makes all the difference, especially when you’re doing men’s cuts all day.

LJ: Which Lady Jane’s product do you swear by and why?

American Crew Fiber. I love that it gives you a strong hold and texture without making the hair look overly styled.

LJ: In one sentence, why should someone choose Lady Jane’s for their next haircut?

Because you’re not just getting a haircut, you’re getting a stylist who takes the time to make sure you leave looking and feeling good.

LJ: What’s a piece of advice you live by (in or out of the salon)?

If you want something better for yourself, go after it, don’t get too comfortable staying somewhere just because it’s familiar.

LJ: What inspired you to get into the hair industry?

I’ve always loved being able to transform someone’s look and seeing the confidence they have when they leave my chair.

LJ: Best compliment a client has ever given you?

When someone tells me they won’t let anyone else cut their hair. To me, that’s the biggest compliment because it means they genuinely trust me.
