Congratulations to our Stylist of the Month for October, Danielle! Danielle is the store manager at our Kenosha, WI salon. We wanted to ask her a few questions about her and her time at Lady Jane’s!

LJ: What’s one tool you can’t live without on your station and why?

My trimmers, hands down. A good pair of trimmers can make or break a haircut, and they’re definitely the tool I reach for the most.

LJ: Which Lady Jane’s product do you swear by and why?

I love the Bed Head line. Manipulator smells like vacation to me, somewhere on the beach! Also Matte Separation is my favorite for all hair types

LJ: What’s a piece of advice you live by (in or out of the salon)?

Treat people the way you want to be treated, work hard, and don’t take yourself too seriously.

LJ: What inspired you to get into the hair industry?

I’ve always loved the creativity and the connection you get from working with people. I like being able to take someone’s idea, make it my own, and watch them leave feeling more confident.

LJ: Best compliment a client has ever given you?

When a client tells me they’ve never had someone understand exactly what they wanted until they sat in my chair. That’s the best feeling because it means I’m doing more than just giving a haircut, I’m building trust.

LJ: What’s the best part about working at Lady Jane’s that keeps you coming back every day?

The people! I love the atmosphere, the team, and getting to meet so many different clients. Every day is a little different, and I genuinely enjoy making people feel good when they leave my chair.

LJ: If you could give one professional athlete a haircut, who would it be and why?

Ummm… NFL? I don’t know, I’m more of a UFC girly. I’d have to go with Paddy “The Baddy” Pimblett he could definitely use a fresh new style!

LJ: What type of music do you listen to?

I mean honestly (cliche I know) but a little bit of everything! It really depends on the mood, but I’m always down for something with a good beat.

LJ: In one sentence, why should someone choose Lady Jane’s for their next haircut?

Because you’re not just getting a haircut- you’re getting great service, a great atmosphere, and leaving feeling like your best self!

LJ: What are you doing when you’re not behind the chair?

Spending time with my family and friends, enjoying some good food, and making the most of my time outside of work. I’m all about relaxing and having a good time when I’m off the clock.
