Congratulations to our Stylist of the Month for July, Devon! Devon is a Stylist at our Cheektowaga, NY salon. We wanted to ask her a few questions about her and her time at Lady Jane’s!
LJ: What’s the best part about working at Lady Jane’s that keeps you coming back every day?
The excitement of what new cuts and styles I get to create today as well as the amazing stylists I get to work with everyday.
LJ: If you could give one professional athlete a haircut, who would it be and why?
I would give Josh Allen a haircut because I'm a huge Buffalo Bills fan and would love to get him gameday ready!
LJ: What type of music do you listen to?
I have a wide range of music taste. I love everything from rap to alternative and country!
LJ: What are you doing when you’re not behind the chair?
When I'm not behind the chair you can find me at the gym, outside exploring, or tending to the plants at the greenhouse.
LJ: What’s one tool you can’t live without on your station and why?
I cannot live without my trimmers. There is nothing better than finishing a haircut with crisp clean lines that really make a cut look sharp and polished.
LJ:: Which Lady Jane’s product do you swear by and why?
I have been loving the American Crew Curl Cream. It smells so good and after diffusing the curls they come to life and absolutely pop!

LJ:: What’s a piece of advice you live by (in or out of the salon)?

LJ: What inspired you to get into the hair industry?
The joy that comes with helping someone else gain their confidence or find the best version of themselves is something that is hard to find in any other industry.
LJ: Best compliment a client has ever given you?
I have been told that I have a very gentle touch and people appreciate how comfortable and cared for that makes them feel during an appointment.
