Stylist of the Month
Congratulations to our Stylist of the Month for June, Corinne! Corinne is a Stylist at our Wixom, MI salon. We wanted to ask her a few questions about her and her time at Lady Jane’s!
LJ: What’s the best part about working at Lady Jane’s that keeps you coming back every day?
The energy! My beautiful co workers that always lift each other up and inspire and motivate one another. This company challenges you, pushing you to grow. I love it!
LJ: If you could give one professional athlete a haircut, who would it be and why?
Cade Cunningham. I have been following the Detroit Pistons in this playoff season. Cade is ON FIRE and he is giving God the glory through it all. I would feel honored to cut his hair and chat with him.
LJ: What type of music do you listen to?
I love music! Bluegrass, folk, blues, americana, jazz, southern rock; but in the salon 90’s alternative is always my go to.
LJ: What are you doing when you’re not behind the chair?
I am a dog mom. I spend a lot of time with my fur babies at the dog park. It’s a great place to enjoy nature and let them run free. We love it! I am also in a cover band and enjoying playing at local bars around town. Music is the best therapy!
LJ: What’s one tool you can’t live without on your station and why?
My feather nape razor. Nothing beats a clean neck and beard line up. So fresh!
LJ: Which Lady Jane’s product do you swear by and why?
Lately for me it’s been the Matte Clay Spray. It’s a perfect texture spray for those ever so popular textured fringe cuts. I also love it for the clients with fine hair or even ones who don’t like to “feel” like they have product in their hair.
LJ: In one sentence, why should someone choose Lady Jane’s for their next haircut?
Someone should choose Lady Jane’s because WE CARE! From the top of the company down to the stylists in the salons. We care about making you look and feel your best.
LJ: What’s a piece of advice you live by (in or out of the salon)?
Be true to yourself and allow others to do the same. This reminds me to remain open to the different perspectives and experiences that we are all having on this beautiful planet and stay honest with myself.
LJ: What inspired you to get into the hair industry?
I have always been inspired by people, creativity and hands on activities. This industry is perfect combination of those things.
LJ: Best compliment a client has ever given you?
That was amazing! There is nothing that makes me happier than knowing my client has enjoyed their time in my chair, they were able to relax, and now they’re ready for the day. Looking fresh and feeling good!
