LJ: Favorite part about cutting hair at LJ?

Lady Jane's not only has helped me become more confident, but they also gave me a second family. The girls here at the Southgate Lady Jane's really have become my sisters.

LJ: Favorite sports team and why?

Let's go Wings! Growing up, the only sport on in our house was hokey. My brother played for a local team, and it was always so much fun to watch him play. I remember watching some of the best players in NHL history take our wings to the Stanley Cup. I know we will get there again.

LJ: What hobbies do you enjoy in your free time?

I really love spending time with my family and friends. When I am not doing that, we like to take our Jeep off-road on the trails, or go to Silver Lake.

LJ: Clippers or scissors?

Clippers. I love a good fade!

LJ: What’s your favorite LJ product to use?

The American Crew Matte Clay is by far my favorite. It works for almost every client. It's easy to manipulate the product for the desired style.

LJ: 10-second pitch on why LJ is the only place for a guy to get a Haircut…

I think the name speaks for itself. Lady Jane's Haircuts for Men. We cater to our male clients. Not only do we provide them with a precision haircut, we also offer the opportunity to unwind from their day with an invigorating shampoo, or relaxing scalp massage, accompanied with great conversation.

LJ: What is your motto to live by?

One motto I choose to live by is simples. "Kill them with kindness". In life you will be met with difficult scenarios at work, and in your personal life. If you choose the high road, you will usually end up on top.

LJ: What made you want to be a cosmetologist?

It has always been my goal and dream to be part of making someone feel their best. I chose cosmetology becasue when you look good, you feel good, and then you do good!
