Congratulations to our Stylist of the Month for April, Mallory Pippin! Mallory is a stylist at our Fort Wayne, IN salon. We wanted to ask her a few questions about her and her time at Lady Jane’s

LJ: What made you want to be a cosmetologist?

I've always liked doing hair; I've always done my friend's and family's hair.

LJ: Favorite part about cutting hair at LJ?

My favorite part is meeting new people and I also like seeing my progress with cuts. Everyone really helps each other here to be better at their job.

LJ: Favorite sports team and why?

My favorite team is the Colts because it's my grandpa's favorite team and he passed 6 years ago.

LJ: What type of music do you listen to?

The music that I listen to is rap, R&B, and country.

LJ: What hobbies do you enjoy in your free time?

I don't really have a lot of hobbies because being a single mother takes up a lot of my time. But in my free time I hang out with my friends, get my toes done, go to the mall, or get some food.

LJ: Clippers or scissors?

Scissors

LJ: What’s your favorite LJ product to use?

I have two favorites- the 1NE products and the American Crew Matte Clay.

LJ: 10-second pitch on why LJ is the only place for a guy to get a Haircut…

Lady Jane's is the only place for a guy to get a haircut because we are about quality not quantity. We build relationships with the clients and take our time to get them looking nice. We literally have an option on our menu for a King!

LJ: What is your motto to live by?

My motto is "lets get it"
