Congratulations to our Stylist of the Month for August, AJ! AJ is a stylist at our Kenosha, WI salon. We wanted to ask her a few questions about her and her time at Lady Jane’s!

LJ: Favorite part about cutting hair at LJ?

My clients, and developing relationships with them and my girls

LJ: Favorite sports team and why?

Chicago Blackhawks. Who wouldn't!

LJ: What type of music do you listen to?

I’m a gummy bear, and baby shark kind of person. My child has control of Spotify most of the time.

LJ: What hobbies do you enjoy in your free time?

Honestly, I love taking a stroll through the cemetery. A nice quiet walk with beautiful architecture, what’s better!

LJ: Clipper or Scissors?

Clippers for SURE! I love a nice faded look, whether it be a mullet or a gentleman’s cut

LJ: What’s your favorite LJ product to use?

Matte clay, I find it gives the best gentleman smooth look, while the texture for fun

LJ: 10-second pitch on why LJ is the only place for a guy to get a haircut...?

guys like the atmosphere and how we all interact and with the attention to detail. We’re just a great time!

LJ: What is your motto to live by?

LJ: What made you want to be a barber ?

While in middle school my friend's mom was a barber in Chicago. We’d go hang out with her and I thought it was so cool how she would just “hang out” all day with her friends and make money. Also she Genuinely enjoyed it. I wanted to do the same!
