Congratulations to our Stylist of the Month for June, Allison Burton! Allie is a stylist at our Kenosha, WI salon. We wanted to ask her a few questions about her and her time at Lady Jane’s.

LJ: Favorite part about cutting hair at LJ?

The creative freedom & the teamwork! I love having a good team, even if someone struggles from time to time, we're here for each other.

LJ: Favorite sports team and why?

Greenbay Packers! Not just for the sport, but for the personal ethics of the players and the team regularly gives back to the community.

LJ: What type of music do you listen to?

I listen to everything from Indie to Black Metal. A genre for every mood.

LJ: What hobbies do you enjoy in your free time?

I love cooking & backpacking. I've climbed the highest mountain East of the Mississippi with a 50lb pack during a surprise blizzard. I learned a lot about endurance and being a fighter on that mountain. Never give up!!

LJ: Clippers or Scissors?

Clippers! You can do anything from fade to point cut length, even a diagonal forward with a good clipper over comb.

LJ: What is your favorite LJ Product to use?

Defining Paste by American Crew.

LJ: 10-second pitch on why LJ is the only place for a guy to get a haircut...

LJ is the only place with an LJ team! We are what guys need and we need to let them know!

LJ: What is your motto to live by?

Water off of a duck's back! If it doesn't keep you from eating, let it go!

LJ: What made you want to be a cosmetologist?

I love art, and I love people!
