Congratulations to our Stylist of the Month for March, Jade Wolford! She's a stylist at our Clarkston, Michigan salon. We wanted to ask her a few questions about her and her time at Lady Jane’s.

LJ: As a Wicked Awesome Stylist, what's your favorite part about cutting hair at LJ?

JADE: Being able to interact with all different people/clientele.

LJ: Since sports is such a large part of the LJ experience, what's your favorite sports team & why?

JADE: The Detroit Tigers, because I grew up watching them.

LJ: What type of music do you listen to?

JADE: I enjoy all types of music!

LJ: What do you enjoy?

JADE: Being creative both at work and outside of work. I enjoy photography on my days off.

LJ: Scissor cuts or clipper cuts?

JADE: Depends on how I am feeling that day

LJ: What is your favorite LJ product for guys to use?

JADE: BedHead Matte Separation

LJ: And lastly, what's your 10 second pitch on why LJ is the ONLY place for a guy to get his hair cut?

JADE: We provide awesome cuts in a great atmosphere. Not only will you get excellent service, you will have fun being here with us!

LJ: What is your favorite thing about working at Lady Jane's?

JADE: My awesome coworkers :) we have so much fun at work!

LJ: If you had a motto to live by, what would it be and why?

JADE: Well the girls call me the Towel Queen because I am always on top of doing towels, so it would probably be "never underestimate the power of folded towels".

LJ: What led you to become a cosmetologist?

JADE: Growing up I always liked playing with different hairstyles on my stepsisters, but I really grew to like cutting men’s hair while in cosmetology school.
