Congratulations to our Stylist of the Month for May, Erica Rex! She's the manager of our Lyndhurst, OH salon! We wanted to ask her a few questions about her and her time at Lady Jane’s.

LJ: As a Wicked Awesome STYLIST, what's your favorite part about cutting hair at LJ?

ERICA: My favorite part about working at LJ is the fun, laid back atmosphere. Plus, my clients are pretty great. :)

LJ: Since sports is such a large part of the LJ experience, what's your favorite sports team & why?

ERICA: I grew up in a hockey family, so that was always the cool sport. But since Cleveland doesn’t have an NHL team I like to root for our other teams! The Tribe, Cavs, and Browns.

LJ: What type of music do you listen to?

ERICA: I love music and good lyrics! I’m into a little bit of everything. Lately it’s a lot of Todays Alternative. But, you can’t beat a good Sublime & Gorillaz Pandora mix. And Elton John. Who doesn’t love Elton John?

LJ: What do you enjoy?

ERICA: I enjoy hikes with my dogs, good music, astrology, the beach, interesting people, good conversation, and vacations!!!

LJ: Scissor cuts or clipper cuts?

ERICA: I like a tight, tapered clipper cut for the sides and a longer scissor cut for the top to add texture. The prohibition haircut has been the trend for a few years, but in my mind it’s a classic look.

LJ: What is your favorite LJ product for guys to use?

ERICA: My all time favorite product is the Bed Head Matte Separation.It goes on smooth, adds volume, and gives a very natural ‘great hair day’ look.

LJ: And lastly, what's your 10 second pitch on why LJ is the ONLY place for a guy to get his hair cut?
