Alicia Bunch, COO of Lady Jane's, caught up with a very excited Carly to get a good look at the incredible girl who will represent Lady Jane's in 2024:
Position & Locations: Stylist, North Beltline
AB: When did you discover that you wanted a career in the beauty industry?
Carly: I have lots of family in the industry. I was also the friend who did everyone's hair and make-up for school dances. I learned to love the men's side of hair in cosmetology school.
AB: What interested you in being part of Lady Jane's team?
Carly: I loved the flexible schedule along with how fast you can move up in the company and grow.
AB: How long have you cut in an LJ salon?
Carly: Almost 5 years!
AB: Why do you think you were selected as the LJ Girl for 2024?
Carly: I think I was selected to represent Lady Jane’s because of my hard work and drive to keep moving up and, giving each client the best experience possible.
AB: What has been your most memorable LJ moment?
Carly: My amazing clients make every day the most memorable. From picking on each other to laughing and going through hard times together.
AB: How would you define success?
Carly: Doing what you love without it feeling like work. Moving up and achieving the goals you set.
AB: What haircut are you digging right now for the fellas?
Carly: I am really liking all the textured haircuts. Love all the movements in those haircuts.
AB: Other than your career, what are you passionate about?
Carly: I am passionate about fashion and shopping. And I also love decorating and interior design.
AB: What are three things you can’t live without?
Carly: Definitely my mom, and my two little girls Briella and Inessa.
AB: What’s your motto/advice you live by?
Carly: Everything happens for a reason.

Carly: I'll be continuing to move up in the company and helping with events run by Lady Janes

Carly's journey in the beauty industry sprouted from a familial connection and her role as the go-to friend for hair and makeup during school dances. Enrolling in cosmetology school deepened her love for men's hair styling, setting the stage for her remarkable career. Joining Lady Jane's almost five years ago, Carly was drawn to the team's flexible schedule, rapid career advancement, and opportunities for personal and professional growth.
