Victoria Franz, COO of Lady Jane’s, caught up with Haley for an inside look at the exceptional stylist who will represent Lady Jane’s in 2026:
VF: When did you discover that you wanted a career in the beauty industry?
Haley: When I was younger I liked doing my family and friends hair, nails, and makeup and playing dress up, so I think I’ve always wanted to do it. My mom went to cosmetology school as well so I feel like that had an influence.
VF: When did you start working with LJ?
Haley: January of 2024.
VF: What interested you in being part of The Lady Jane's team?
Haley: I love doing men’s hair! I have four brothers and being around them growing up makes it easy to talk to the male clientele that comes and goes in here, and just the environment can be a fun time in the salon.
VF: Why do you think you were selected as the LJ Girl for 2026?
Haley: I think I was selected because I embody the LJ brand- confident, professional, and authentic- and I connect naturally with people.
VF: Other than your career, what are you passionate about?
Haley: Personal growth with anything and learning more about cutting hair.
VF: What has been your most memorable LJ moment?
Haley: Getting LJ Girl of the Year!
VF: At the salon you’re on your feet and dealing with all kinds of demands all day long. What is it about this place that keeps you motivated and inspired to come in and cut hair everyday?
Haley: The clientele but mainly my coworkers, they’re some of the funniest and caring people I have met and that makes the day better no matter what.
VF: What’s your motto/advice you live by?
Haley: It is what it is- can’t change what has already happened but can try to fix or change it in the future.
VF: How would your best friend describe you?
Haley: Funny, sensitive, reliable, honest, and loving.
VF: What is one item that you splurge on?
Haley: Food or shoes all day long!
VF: What is your favorite men’s styling product right now?
Haley: BedHead Matte Separation- it has a nice hold and can be flexible depending on the amount used. It also smells so good so that’s a nice plus.
VF: What is your favorite LJ service we offer?
Haley: Scalp massage, they’re very relaxing to receive and a nice break for the client.
VF: What are three things you can’t live without?
Haley: My husband, my dog, and my mom.
VF: What haircut are you really loving right now for the fellas?
Haley: The Flow, very classy looking when styled the right way.
VF: Ten years from now, where do you see yourself….
Haley: In the salon still, hopefully moved up in some way or another!
