Victoria Franz, COO of Lady Jane’s, sat down with Chelsea to celebrate the talented stylist who will represent Lady Jane’s in 2026:

VF: Why do you think you were selected as the LJ Rookie for 2026?

Chelsea: I think I was selected because I came in ready to work, learn, and lead by example. I take pride in consistency, professionalism, and giving every guest a great experience. Even though I was new to LJ, I brought years of experience, a strong work ethic, and a genuine passion for this industry.

VF: When did you start with LJ?

Chelsea: I started with Lady Jane’s at the beginning of February 2025.

VF: What interested you in being part of The Lady Jane’s team?

Chelsea: I was looking for stability, growth, and a team that truly works together. Lady Jane’s felt like a place where experience is respected, effort matters, and you’re supported instead of just showing up to cut hair.

VF: When did you discover that you wanted a career in the beauty industry?

Chelsea: I discovered it early on. I’ve always loved making people feel confident and comfortable. Hair became my way of connecting with people while creating something meaningful with my hands.

VF: What has been your most challenging LJ moment so far?

Chelsea: Stepping into something new while holding myself to high expectations. Learning new systems and routines while still giving my guests the experience they deserve pushed me, but it also reminded me how much I’m capable of.

VF: What men’s haircut are you really loving right now?

Chelsea: A clean fade with texture on top. It’s classic but modern, and when it’s done well, it really boosts confidence.

VF: What is your favorite LJ service we offer?

Chelsea: The King's Treatment with a razor face shave. I love that it’s more than just hair. It's time for guests to relax, reset, and leave feeling better than when they walked in.

VF: What are three things you can’t live without?

Chelsea: My family, my morning caffeine, and my clippers!

VF: What is one item that you splurge on?

Chelsea: Professional hair tools. I believe in taking my craft seriously and using tools that help me do my best work.

VF: How would your best friend describe you?

Chelsea: Loyal, hardworking, honest, and someone who always shows up for the people she cares about.

VF: At the salon you’re on your feet and dealing with all kinds of demands all day long. What is it about this place that keeps you motivated and inspired to come in and cut hair every day?

Chelsea: The people, both the clients and the team. I love being part of an environment where effort is noticed and where I can make someone’s day better, even in a small way.

VF: Other than your career, what are you passionate about?

Chelsea: Being a mom, spending time with my family, staying active, and continuing to grow as a person. Balance is important to me.

VF: What’s your motto/advice you live by?

Chelsea: Stay consistent, stay humble, and never stop growing.
