Wicked Awesome Wishes

While we’ve been afforded so many blessings in life, we truly believe that we have a higher purpose: to give back. We could have easily given money to already-established causes, but it wouldn’t have given us the personal interaction we desire. With this principle in mind, we created Wicked Awesome Wishes as a means of giving back, setting out to establish a charity like no other. We consider WAW an honest-to-goodness, well-intentioned, non-profit organization based on the idea that charity is supposed to support the community of people who are in need and that helps people directly. People — down-to-earth, real people — helped us build our business and our livelihood. It is those people, often blue collar Detroiters, who form the basis of all we do. That’s why we formed our charity to support any individual in need and make their wishes come true.

DreamCatchers for Abused Children's mission is to educate the public on child abuse signs & symptoms, statistics, intervention, reporting, prevention, and assist victims & survivors in locating the proper resources necessary to enable and achieve a full recovery.

Sister Souls Inc.

Sister Souls focuses on one project at a time. They are solely dedicated to selecting causes for children that need help locally & overseas. Founded by Kimberly Casper and Stacy Blaine Brackon in 2011, Sister Souls Inc. is based out of Lake Orion.

Marian Center, St Mary's Antiochian Orthodox Church

St. Mary's Church hosts all of their functions in the church activity center. Its members have soon outgrown the current facility! As of 2017, with the help of Lady Jane's and Wicked Awesome Wishes, they no longer have that problem. A new building designed for family and youth enrichment has been constructed!

Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #130

Hosting their Annual Golf Outing at the Links of Novi funds are raised to host a Zoo Trip and assist with visitation for mentally and physically disabled children. The members of this lodge are law enforcement officers for over 30 different agencies from Southeastern Michigan.

Rocking for a Match

Creating awareness for cancer and blood disorders, a bone marrow drive can help to save lives. People that were willing to donate blood came to see if they were a match for anyone needing a blood transfer.

UAW Local 1005 Golf Tournament

Local 1005 retirees hosted their annual golf tournament at Mallard Creek. Lady Jane's became a hole sponsor and provided free haircuts for all of the golfers. Overages went to the Children's Christmas Party Fund to create a happier Holiday.

Visiting Angels - Senior Home Care by Angels

Helping to create awareness for Alzheimer's, Lady Jane's was proud to assist Visiting Angels with a donation. Visiting Angels was established as a nursing facility to provide care for senior citizens. Providing the best care possible to seniors and training for their staff is part of their philosophy. Proceeds from the event will assist with the Alzheimer's Association search to find a cure for this horrible disease.

Bike Day

Wicked Awesome Wishes and Lady Jane's Haircuts for Men Partnered with The Center for Children's Rehabilitation, and Children's Miracle Network Hospitals to brighten the lives of around 100 children who are living with a disability by giving them a custom bike that meets their special needs. Bikes customized for children living with a disability cannot be found at local bike shops or big box retailers. Depending on specific needs, bikes are modified or customized for each child. Saturday, June 8th, Wicked Awesome Wishes teamed up with an excited Lady Jane's crew to walk the zoo and raise money benefitting pediatric programs at Corewell Health. With the event being Superhero themed, we were greeted upon arrival by some of history's greatest characters. Strikeout Illness Adventure!!!!

Wicked Awesome Wishes and Lady Jane's Haircuts for Men gave honor to the memorial day weekend by helping more than 650 families enjoy a day at the ballpark. The Strikeout Illness Adventure was Saturday May 25, 2024 at Jimmy John's Field in Utica, MI. These families' children suffer from life altering conditions and would not be able to attend such an event due to financial constraints. Family fun at the Ball Game!

Wicked Awesome Wishes and the Lady Jane's team were able to meet the great family of Lisa and her two daughters Maddie and Lily last week, at our headquarters in Birmingham MI. In the fall of 2023, Lisa's husband, Scott, passed away due to complications with his heart. This left the trio of girls heartbroken and Lisa struggling to balance being a mom with providing for the family.

Crayola Fun in Chandler, AZ

Lady Jane's Haircuts for Men - Phoenix and Wicked Awesome Wishes took over the Crayola Experience Chandler on April 21st to welcome 60 kids and their families to enjoy an experience they would not normally be able to afford. This event was part of the Kids Gotta Play adventures that we are blessed to be part of nationwide. These amazing kids suffer from life-altering conditions, and we are so thankful to be a part of giving them an afternoon of fun with their loved ones.

NEW WHEELS FOR GRACELYN

On September 24th, 2023 Gracelyn’s parents, Benjamin and Emily Hutt noticed a lump on Gracelyn’s abdomen and had a doctor appointment to follow up with her pediatrician. After determining that there was no emergency as they waited for the appointment to get in with the ultrasound tech, Gracelyn fell very ill. After rushing Gracelyn to the hospital and having many labs completed, it was determined the very next day that Gracelyn had a tumor that had ruptured which was surgically removed.
