Wicked Awesome Wishes

While we’ve been afforded so many blessings in life, we truly believe that we have a higher purpose: to give back. We could have easily given money to already-established causes, but it wouldn’t have given us the personal interaction we desire. With this principle in mind, we created Wicked Awesome Wishes as a means of giving back, setting out to establish a charity like no other. We consider WAW an honest-to-goodness, well-intentioned, non-profit organization based on the idea that charity is supposed to support the community of people who are in need and that helps people directly. People — down-to-earth, real people — helped us build our business and our livelihood. It is those people, often blue collar Detroiters, who form the basis of all we do. That’s why we formed our charity to support any individual in need and make their wishes come true.

DreamCatchers for Abused Children's mission is to educate the public on child abuse signs & symptoms, statistics, intervention, reporting, prevention, and assist victims & survivors in locating the proper resources necessary to enable and achieve a full recovery.

Sister Souls focuses on one project at a time. They are solely dedicated to selecting causes for children that need help locally & overseas. Founded by Kimberly Casper and Stacy Blaine Brackon in 2011, Sister Souls Inc. is based out of Lake Orion.

Marian Center, St Mary's Antiochian Orthodox Church

St. Mary's Church hosts all of their functions in the church activity center. Its members have soon outgrown the current facility! As of 2017, with the help of Lady Jane's and Wicked Awesome Wishes, they no longer have that problem. A new building designed for family and youth enrichment has been constructed!

Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #130

Hosting their Annual Golf Outing at the Links of Novi funds are raised to host a Zoo Trip and assist with visitation for mentally and physically disabled children. The members of this lodge are law enforcement officers for over 30 different agencies from Southeastern Michigan.

Rocking for a Match

Creating awareness for cancer and blood disorders, a bone marrow drive can help to save lives. People that were willing to donate blood came to see if they were a match for anyone needing a blood transfer.

UAW Local 1005 Golf Tournament

Local 1005 retirees hosted their annual golf tournament at Mallard Creek. Lady Jane's became a hole sponsor and provided free haircuts for all of the golfers. Overages went to the Children's Christmas Party Fund to create a happier Holiday.

Visiting Angels - Senior Home Care by Angels

Helping to create awareness for Alzheimer's, Lady Jane's was proud to assist Visiting Angels with a donation. Visiting Angels was established as a nursing facility to provide care for senior citizens. Providing the best care possible to seniors and training for their staff is part of their philosophy. Proceeds from the event will assist with the Alzheimer's Association search to find a cure for this horrible disease.

Lady Jane’s Haircuts for Men is honored to support the Brian Terry Foundation Golf Outing by donating an allotment of haircuts to the cause. The Brian Terry Foundation was created to honor the life, service, and sacrifice of U.S. Border Patrol Brian Terry. The foundation raises awareness on border related security issues that affect the overall safety and welfare of these agents. WAW & LJ TEAM UP WITH THE CHILD ADVOCACY CENTER TO RAISE MONEY FOR CHILD ABUSE VICTIMS

Wicked Awesome Wishes and Lady Jane's Haircuts for Men teamed up with the Child Advocacy Center to help raise money for Child Abuse Victims. It was the 11th Annual Turkey Tee Off Golf Tournament Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Cedar Crest Golf Course in Murfreesboro, TN. Together the partners and participants helped raise more than $30,000 to support crisis intervention services for child abuse victims.

BIG TOP TOY DROP 2021

Lady Jane’s and Wicked Awesome Wishes were proud to partner with 105.1 The Bounce for this year’s Big Top Toy Drop! Together, we were able to donate thousands of toys to the deserving families staying at the Ronald McDonald House Charities Detroit. We are so grateful for the opportunity to help spread the holiday spirit and uplift these families who are experiencing the unimaginable this holiday season.

Today we had the pleasure of granting wishes for 4 veterans and their families who have fallen on extremely hard times during the pandemic. COVID-19 RELIEF PROGRAM

The CEO of Lady Jane's Haircuts for Men, Chad Jonson, made his stylists his #1 priority during the difficult time surrounding COVID-19. With 100+ salons closed down abruptly nationwide, numerous stylists were out of work and questioning their financial well-being. Chad knew he couldn't sit by and wait for answers, so he pledged $100,000 to a relief fund during the pandemic to aid his stylists. Over 500 stylists were able to access funds to aid and assist them in these unprecedented times!
