Wicked Awesome Wishes

While we’ve been afforded so many blessings in life, we truly believe that we have a higher purpose: to give back. We could have easily given money to already-established causes, but it wouldn’t have given us the personal interaction we desire. With this principle in mind, we created Wicked Awesome Wishes as a means of giving back, setting out to establish a charity like no other. We consider WAW an honest-to-goodness, well-intentioned, non-profit organization based on the idea that charity is supposed to support the community of people who are in need and that helps people directly. People — down-to-earth, real people — helped us build our business and our livelihood. It is those people, often blue collar Detroiters, who form the basis of all we do. That’s why we formed our charity to support any individual in need and make their wishes come true.

DreamCatchers for Abused Children's mission is to educate the public on child abuse signs & symptoms, statistics, intervention, reporting, prevention, and assist victims & survivors in locating the proper resources necessary to enable and achieve a full recovery.

Sister Souls focuses on one project at a time. They are solely dedicated to selecting causes for children that need help locally & overseas. Founded by Kimberly Casper and Stacy Blaine Brackon in 2011, Sister Souls Inc. is based out of Lake Orion.

Marian Center, St Mary's Antiochian Orthodox Church

St. Mary's Church hosts all of their functions in the church activity center. Its members have soon outgrown the current facility! As of 2017, with the help of Lady Jane's and Wicked Awesome Wishes, they no longer have that problem. A new building designed for family and youth enrichment has been constructed!

Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #130

Hosting their Annual Golf Outing at the Links of Novi funds are raised to host a Zoo Trip and assist with visitation for mentally and physically disabled children. The members of this lodge are law enforcement officers for over 30 different agencies from Southeastern Michigan.

Rocking for a Match

Creating awareness for cancer and blood disorders, a bone marrow drive can help to save lives. People that were willing to donate blood came to see if they were a match for anyone needing a blood transfer.

UAW Local 1005 Golf Tournament

Local 1005 retirees hosted their annual golf tournament at Mallard Creek. Lady Jane's became a hole sponsor and provided free haircuts for all of the golfers. Overages went to the Children's Christmas Party Fund to create a happier Holiday.

Visiting Angels - Senior Home Care by Angels

Helping to create awareness for Alzheimer's, Lady Jane's was proud to assist Visiting Angels with a donation. Visiting Angels was established as a nursing facility to provide care for senior citizens. Providing the best care possible to seniors and training for their staff is part of their philosophy. Proceeds from the event will assist with the Alzheimer's Association search to find a cure for this horrible disease.

Ben's Dream with Miami Heat

Wicked Awesome Wishes and Lady Jane's were honored to help Ben and his parents attend a Miami Heat game on 4/13/24. Ben has Autism, OCD, and a seizure disorder. He loves the Miami Heat and has always asked his parents to take him to a game. They were concerned that he wouldn't be able to handle it but wanted to try since he is such a huge fan. WAW and LJ sent Ben and his parents to the game, which they normally could not afford. Ben had the time of his life and his parents were so grateful!

Hoops for Hope!

Wicked Awesome Wishes and Lady Jane's Haircuts for Men teamed up to help children in need enjoy a night out watching the Detroit Pistons get a much needed win. The night started with every Kid Again family receiving a t-shirt and Pistons hat as they entered the arena. Wish upon a Teen

Lady Jane's Haircuts for Men - Columbus and Wicked Awesome Wishes took over the Cosi museum on March 3rd to welcome more than 2,500 kids and their families to enjoy an experience they would not normally be able to afford. This was part of the Kids Gotta Play adventures that we are blessed to be part of across the country. These amazing kids suffer from life altering conditions and no one deserves a day of fun and education more than them.

Ryder is a Rockstar!

On October 19th, 2023, the Finkel family got the news that their son Ryder Finkel had a rare form of childhood brain cancer. He has an inoperable tumor on his brain stem, and they were informed that his time with them was limited. They fight daily to ensure Ryder lives his life to the fullest. Wicked Awesome Wishes and Lady Jane's Haircuts for Men were blessed to receive a wish from a caregiver at the Cleveland Clinic asking us to send this special little lady and her parents to therapy in Key Largo, FL that only the Dolphins can provide! It is an effective treatment for her aggressive Muscular Dystrophy and one her family could not afford. WAW and 200+ Lady Jane's managers invited Peyton and her parents to sunny Florida. Moonbeams for Sweet Dreams

Wicked Awesome Wishes and Lady Jane's were privileged to be part of 2023's Moonbeams for Sweet Dreams. Thousands of Volunteers shine flashlights to remind pediatric patients that they are not alone this holiday season and wish them sweet dreams as they turn out their lights for the night. Our financial support and volunteers helped some amazing kids forget about their health challenges and feel the impact of what the holidays are all about!
